SIGNS IN LIFE
by
Deanna Nowadick

About the Book
SIGNS IN LIFE begins with a late night encounter with law enforcement. In the harsh glare of a flashlight, author DEANNA NOWADNICK learns the consequences of speeding through a stop sign. Other incidents follow. All are linked to the divine signs she's encountered in that bigger journey through life.

MY REVIEW
I have fallen away from Gods way...I am seeking God for what my purpose is in my life at this time.....how do I turn back to HIM and find out....Deanna had sent me an email about reading and writing a review about her book. I was excited to get it in the mail! I have read her books before and they were always a blessing to read. Deanna is very upfront...no holds barred, brutally honest and she shares her struggles that we all have no matter who you are. Just reading the Prologue got my attention. This book was a definite help to me in a way of opening my eyes to my surroundings. Deanna helped me to realize we are all in need of HIS direction and that GOD is here right now for me!
I LOVE the cover of this book it is perfect!!!
I would recommend this book to anyone who needs a little direction!

How the Gospel Brings Us All the Way Home

About the E-Book
In How the Gospel Brings Us All the Way Home, Dr. Derek W. H. Thomas explores Romans 8, which he calls the best chapter in the Bible. Here he finds an exposition of the steps through which God leads His people in the process of their salvation, but also loving counsel on such topics as prayer and resisting the Devil, as well as exhortations and comforts for weary pilgrims. Dr. Thomas begins at Romans 8:1 with the best news imaginable believers just and deserved condemnation before God has been taken away by Jesus Christ s work on the cross. He then contrasts earthly minded and spiritually minded people, showing that only those who are spiritually minded know life.
In Romans 8:29 30, he explores several steps in the process of salvation foreknowledge, predestination, calling, justification, and, finally, glorification which show God s invincible purpose in redemption. Finally, he unfolds the powerful promise of the final few verses of Romans 8 nothing can separate those God has redeemed from His saving love. How the Gospel Brings Us All the Way Home is a powerful exploration of the manifold gifts the heavenly Father has lavished upon His people and a preview of the greater inheritance that lies ahead.

My Review
If you have a Bible Please read the chapter first...If  you do not have a Bible click on the  "ROMANS 8" below  I shared the King James Version....if you want to read another version go to  the same site and you  will find other versions to help you out...

ROMANS 8

Now read the e-book or book and see what is shared in it.
As you will see there are sermons on Romans 8. I did not know they
were going to be sermons I thought it was going to be more of
a study. But that said, I would say this is a book that should be read
carefully and prayerfully. There are somethings I agree with and other
things I do not agree with. I always say. “Make sure you Pray, before, while
and after you read a book” that deals with Biblical precepts.
I would recommend that this book to anyone who wants to
become somewhat more familiar with the book of Romans 8.

I received this e-book from Reformation Trust An imprint of LigonierMinistries
in return of my honest review.

Her Testimony

My name is Deborah Bateman. I was raised in church and was saved at an early age. I was baptized when I was about six years old, but then as a teenager, I became unsure of my salvation. I could remember being baptized, but I didn’t remember the conversion experience.
I told my pastor what was going on and he prayed with me and I asked Jesus to come into my heart and to forgive me of my sins, so that I could be sure of my salvation. My faith in God has always been a big part of my life. It is my faith and confidence in God that has helped me get through all the trials of my life. My life verse is: Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose
Shortly after I made sure of my salvation I started praying for a Christian husband, even though I was much too young to get married.  I actually dated my husband for the first time when I was sixteen and he was twenty. I was too young and immature so we just had one date and that was it. About two years later, he called me, we started dating, and six months later, we got married. Things have not always been easy, but with our love for each other, our faith in God and our determination to stay together we have now been married for soon to be thirty-seven years.

PENNY WISE
By
David and Neta Jackson

ABOUT THE BOOK
PENNY WISE (Book 3 in the Windy City Neighbors series) introduces us to yet another family in "the neighborhood"-the Jaspers, busy with demanding jobs, busy with church, busy volunteering, parents of three active teenagers, juggling sometimes crazy schedules. All good things. Until all those "good things" feed into a series of crises that affects the whole family. Something's gotta change! PENNY WISE is a contemporary peek at an urban family wrestling with the spiritual and practical challenges of real life. The series employs the innovating storytelling technique of "parallel novels," each with its own drama and story arc, but whose characters' lives become intertwined with their neighbors and affect one another. Welcome to Beecham Street-a typical, isolated American neighborhood that is beginning to come out of its shell . . . for better or worse.

My Review
This book is definitely not a letdown like some books in a series can be. This story shares a very realistic view of what life is like for a working mother with teenagers and is also very active in church and the community. You have to keep reading because you want and need to know what is going to happen next. I truly loved and enjoyed Penny Wise!! I love the characters that are written wonderfully and believably. It is very encouraging to read a book that is truly grounded in God’s principles and also conveys the message of Christ without being preachy. The book makes you want book 4 now. I have enjoyed ALL the books that are written by David and Neta and you will too!!!

I would recommend this to All who enjoy a great series of books to read and be blessed by!!! This is a must read for all Jackson fans and those who have yet to read them!!!
I have been blessed to now start reading the “The Yada, Yada Prayer Group” series!!!
May the Lord God continue to use you both to further His Glory, Honor and Praise.
In Jesus Name Amen

My Review
I saw a link somewhere online about this book….It caught my eye…..so I clicked on it to find out more!!! I ended up on Rali’s web site….the link is below….As I read about this book I started looking for the contact link to ask Rali if she would be interested in letting me read and review her book…..she agreed and sent me this book in e-book form…Now I know I have shared about not liking e-books….I just wanted to read this book so I agreed…..And I was not disappointed…

I would LOVE to have this book in print!!!!!!! It's not just a book but a "daily devotional guide" that makes one's prayer life a sweet adventure and more effective.

How can you go wrong with Scripture…..as long as it is not twisted or changed all is well!!!

This is a very helpful book because Rali teaches us to pray God’s Word in faith…And HE promises HE will answer us in His time and according to His will!!! God’s Word will NOT become void!!!

I consider myself a prayer warrior and use “pray, prayn, prayn4u” and other usernames with “pray” in it throughout my online names because I want others to know I am a person who takes prayer very seriously.

Rali, also is my kindred spirit as she too takes prayer very seriously!!! She is a blessing to God and me …and to ALL those who read this book…..She does not tell you how to pray but helps you understand the power of praying Scripture as you pray, and the importance of it. I will be keeping this ebook and reading it many more times.

I highly recommend this book to everyone!!!!!!!

May God’s peace, love, joy and grace engulf you and flow out of you all the days of your life, Rali.
In Jesus Name Amen.

THE PRAYER BOX
BY
LISA WINGATE

ABOUT THE BOOK
When Iola Anne Poole, an old-timer on Hatteras Island, passes away in her bed at ninety-one, the struggling young mother in her rental cottage, Tandi Jo Reese, finds herself charged with the task of cleaning out Iola's rambling Victorian house.

Running from a messy, dangerous past, Tandi never expects to find more than a temporary hiding place within Iola's walls, but everything changes with the discovery of eighty-one carefully decorated prayer boxes, one for each year, spanning from Iola's youth to her last days. Hidden in the boxes is the story of a lifetime, written on random bits of paper--the hopes and wishes, fears and thoughts of an unassuming but complex woman passing through the seasons of an extraordinary, unsung life filled with journeys of faith, observations on love, and one final lesson that could change everything.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!! I thought this was so refreshing and a wonderfully way to share the importance of prayer!!!!!!! I have a very small shaped heart, that is my prayer box! I will share a picture below

I cannot tell you how much this book touched my inner soul of prayer and I thank GOD for rekindling my prayer life and journaling!!!!!!!
I recommend this book to EVERYONE.
God grace and peace be covering and engulfing you, Lisa, all the days of your life. In Jesus Name Amen
